Sagitech VMS 2.6.5

Sagitech VMS 2.6.5 focuses on the further development of AI video analytics, improved stability in high-load systems, and expanded integration capabilities.

Updated AI Video Analytics

  • Updated neural networks for people and head detection;
  • Added a new neural network-based abandoned object detector;
  • Improved object tracking accuracy and stability;
  • Added support for GPU-based object tracking;
  • Improved re-identification of people after temporary tracking loss;
  • Added AI analytics profiles and analysis quality settings;
  • Added support for custom neural networks;
  • Improved GPU memory management with automatic fallback to CPU when required;
  • The Queue Detection module has been migrated to the updated neural detector.

Sagitech LPR Improvements

  • Improved vehicle entry and exit tracking;
  • Added one-time exit permissions;
  • Added history of completed visits;
  • Updated reports for vehicles currently on site and parking time violations.

Performance and Stability

  • Optimized analytics performance on servers with a large number of cameras;
  • Improved workload distribution, parallel startup of recognition channels, and overall stability of high-load systems.

FishEye and Archive

  • Extended support for FishEye cameras, including cameras with elliptical and partially cropped images;
  • Fixed several issues related to FishEye dewarping and digital zoom;
  • Added the ability to switch between events directly from the event viewer in the Alarm Log.

Maps and Control

  • Added support for PDF maps, zooming, and mouse navigation;
  • Extended PTZ control capabilities via RSAPI, including continuous PTZ movement and zoom control through /rsapi/ptzcontrol.

Integrations

  • Added integration with StreamLabs USB I/O boards;
  • Extended support for Dahua, Uniview, Hikvision, and other manufacturers.

Security

  • Enhanced protection of network communications and transmitted data processing.

Android Mobile Client

  • Added a new License Plate Recognition (LPR) section to the mobile application.

Also improved:

  • initial camera loading;
  • archive operation on servers with large storage volumes;
  • archive calendar loading;
  • status indication during long-running operations;
  • server availability checks;
  • application stability, navigation, and interface rendering.

Other Fixes

This release also includes fixes related to:

  • H.265 decoding and RTSP stream reception;
  • startup of a large number of face recognition channels;
  • password policies;
  • Server Setup Wizard startup on Linux;
  • licensing of individual modules;
  • interface localization.
